Day 01

At 06:00 meet at the airport and start the trip. Borobudur is built in the form of a massive stupa, literally wrapped around the hill. It is one of the greatest Buddhist Temples in Indonesia. Kaliurang is the nearest hill resort to the city standing on the slope of Mount Merapi. There are good forest walks and superb views of the smoking fire spewing mountain. After lunch return to the city for check in.

Day 02

At 10:00, an AC coach is ready to drive you for the city tour. Jalan Malioboro is famous as a souvenir shops colorful bazar. It is a great place to shop for crafts and antiques, primarily of Java.

Kraton ( Sultan Palace ) - structurally, this is one of the finest examples of Javanese palace architecture. The palace is attended by very dignified elderly retainers who still wear traditional Javanese dress.

Taman Sari ( Water Castle ) is just west of Kraton. It was once a splendid pleasure park of palaces, pools, and waterways for the Sultan and his entourage. In the South of Kraton is an area for Batik Industry. It is the right place to see the Javanese women paint in a unique way.

Sono Budoyo museum has a first rate collection of Javanese art such as puppets masks, kris, and batik. There is also courtyard which is packed with Hindu Statuary. Kota Gede is famous for its silver industry. At 17.00 return to the airport. The tour ends.
