BALIEM VALLEY EXCLUSIVE 5 DAYS – 4 NIGHT

 

 

 

DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (D)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet by guide, transfer to Sentani Indah hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free program . Dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 02: JAYAPURA WAMENA (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for your fly to Wamena by Trigana flight within 55 minutes. Up on arrive in Wamena transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel, then after a short brief with your guide about the trip, then visiting traditional hanging bridge, Dani Village and surrounding. Lunch will serve at local  restaurant.  afternoon back to hotel for accommodation and dinner.

 

DAY03. WAMENA - JIWIKA – WAMENA ( B,L,D )
After break fast, full day tour to explore the Northern part of Baliem Valley drive to Jiwika 40 minutes then start to climb up to Milli mountain to see how is the Dani women making salt in traditional way. From the salt pool, walk down to Sumpaima village to see  the 250 years old mummy. Lunch will serve at Lauk Inn (simple restaurant) then walk 25 minutes to village of Anemoigi to enjoy the traditional dani  dances and mock war battle. Before return to Wamena further to the North to visit Waga waga  village and Kontilola cave.. Afternoon drive back to Wamena for dinner and stay at Baliem Pilamo hotel.

 

DAY 04 : WAMENA JAYAPURA ( B,L,D )
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Wamena airport for a flight departure to Jayapura on Trigana. Upon arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, then touring the area. You will view some of the WW II memorial sites, e.g. : Mc. Arthur Monument at Ifar Gunung, and 1 hour boat excursion in the lake of Sentani to see the local tribe life in the village. Lunch at Yougwa restaurant in the side of lake, afternoon continue touring and visit the museum Abepura and Hamadi market. Dinner and accommodation at Sentani Indah hotel.

 

DAY 05 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE ( B )
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Sentani airport for your flight departure to the next destination.

URGENT NOTE :
The pig killing program in the day of 3rd is not included yet in our price, BUT, the dani mock war and dances and cooking with traditional way is still done as per our contract itinerary, BUT, without killing a pig only. It’s causing the pig price is to expensive and difficult to find

 

Price included :
Hotel as per itinerary (Sentani Indah/ jayapura and Baliem Pilamo hotel/ Wamena), meals on F/B (BLD), traveling permit arrangements, all transfer in/out and charter private car during tour, tour donations, helper fee, accommodation in the villages, donation to the villagers, airport porter, dani mock war, dances and traditional cooking shows, English speaking guide, 2 bottle of mineral water per pax/ day, helper fee, cigarettes for local peoples.

 

EXCLUDED:
Any Domestic Flights, Travel Insurance, Airport taxes and extra baggage charges.
Personal Expenses such as phone calls, laundry, beverages/drinks etc.
All expenses incurred due to the flight cancellations or due other causes beyond our control.
