16 DAYS GREAT SUMATRA ADVENTURE TRIP
MEDAN – TANGKAHAN – BUKIT LAWANG – LAKE TOBA – PADANG – KERINCI SEBLAT

 

 

DAY 01. AIRPORT – HOTEL (Grand Angkasa / Tiara / Best Western Asean Htl)
Upon arrival at Polonia airport transfer to hotel and afternoon free at own leisure.

 

DAY 02 : MEDAN – TANGKAHAN ( Mega Inn / bamboo river Guest House) B
After breakfast drive to Tangkahan via Binjai and Tanjung Pura, on the way visit several villages where you can see the daily activities of local people, arrival at Tangkahan (A Part of Leuser National Park) check In to simple Guest House. Afternoon free at own leisure or walking around the area of the hotel, just to enjoy the nature of Tropical rain forest

 

DAY 03 : TANGKAHAN - ELEPHANT SAFARI .B
After breakfast walking to the Bank of the River and  then by riding the elephant explore the river and the Jungle and the possibility to see several kind of flora and fauna in the rain tropical forest, the Elephan riding will take about one hour, after Elephan Riding tracking to Waterfall where you will walk inside the jungle to see a nature and wonderfull waterfall,   After lunch time explore the river where the possibility to see thousand of butterfly on the beach of the river and contact with local peoples and the possibility to see the Elephant washing at the river.
  
DAY 04 : TANGKAHAN – BUKIT LAWANG ( Bukit Lawang Cottage / Rindu Alam) B
After breakfast drive to Bukit Lawang by motor bike / Jeep, on the way stop at several plantation for rubber, cocoa and palm oil, arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to hotel and afternoon free at own leisure.

 

DAY 05  BUKIT LAWANG – TRACKING. B
After breakfast walking through the bank of the river and then crossing the river by traditional canoe and then continue climbing up to the jungle to see Orang Uran on their feeding time, after feeding time of Orang Utan walking deeper inside the jungle where the posibility to see several kinds of flora and fauna at Tropical rain foret, the tracking will take about 3 hours, after tracking return back to hotel. Afternoon free at own leisure to enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang where you can also walking  to the village around the hotel

 

DAY 06.BUKIT LAWANG – BRASTAGI ( Grand Mutiara Htl / Sinabung Htl ) B
After breakfast drive to Brastagi with stop at Sembahe river and Sikulikap waterfall and visit Batak Karo traditional village at Peceren, and fruit market, afternoon check in to hotel.

 

DAY 07 : BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR ( Silintong / Toledo Inn / Pandu Lake View) B.
After breakfast drive to Parapat on the way visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long house ) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba, upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat arriavl at Samosir check in to hotel.

 

DAY 08 : MOTOR BIKE TOUR. B
After breakfast you may choose to explore Samosir Island “ The Area of Batak Toba people” by Motor Cycle to the Top of Samosir Hill to see Small Lake at the Top of the Hill called Sidahoni Lake, where of the way visiting several Batak Toba village, to see the activities of local people such us visiting children on the school, visiting the village where the local people make traditional hand weaving and other activities. When you prefer tracking, our tour guide will accompany tracking to the jungle on Samosir Island with the possibility to stop at several villages.Afternoon return to hotel.

 

DAY 09 : SAMOSIR – SIPIROK. ( TOr Sibohi Htl) B
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at Pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arrival at Sipirok the day enjoy the nature by walking at the bank of Sarulla river, the rice terrace and arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel.

 

DAY 10 : SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI (Pusako / Royal Denai Htl) B
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey picking up the coconut. Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol, afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi the charming towns of Minangkabau directly check in to hotel.
 
DAY 11.BUKITTINGGI – MINANGKABAU TOUR. B.
After breakfast drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, on the way stop at Rao-Rao to visit Minangkabau traditional village and stop to see traditional village and stop to see traditional coffee milling, arrival at Batu Sangkar drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate of the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit Pandai Sikat village to see Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.

 

DAY 12. BUKITTINGGI – KERINCI SEBLAT / KERSIK TUO (Subandi / Paiman Guest House) B
After breakfast drive to Kersik Tuo via Painan, on the way stop at Bungus beach, passing tropical rain forest and afternoon arrival at Kersik Tuo, the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park check in to hotel.

 

DAY 13.LAKE GUNUNG TUJUH TREKKING.  B.L
After breakfast, transfer by bus to Lake Mount seven National Park for about 1 hours. Lake Danau Tujuh is a huge-mysterious lake on 1.995 m above sea level and surrounded by primary rainforest and 7 hills. Lunch will be served on the side of the lake. The pristine area around the lake is known as the habitat of Sumatran Tigers, Sumatran Elephants, Primates, endemic birds of Sumatra as well as research area for the “small man” who live in the jungle around the lake. Most of the day is spent by trekking and explore the surrounding in search for animals, birds and exotic plants. Dinner and overnight at guest house.

 

DAY 14. KERINCI SEBLAT – ENJOYING THE ATMOSPHERE . B
After breakfast and easy day to enjoy the atmosphere around the area of Kerinci Seblat National park, tour can be made to Kayu Aro Tea plantation, explore the river around and witness the activities of local people.

 

DAY 15.KERINCI SEBLAT – BUKITTINGGI (Pusako / Denai Htl) B.
After breakfast drive to Bukittinggi via Muara Labuh, on the way passing tea Plantation, visiting Letter W waterfall, Twin Lake of Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah. Afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi check in to hotel.

 

DAY 16.BUKITTINGGI – PADANG / AIRPORT.B
After breakfast Free at own leisure until time transfer to Airport

 

Included :Accommodation / twin sharing, daily breakfast, Air condition coach, Elephan riding at Tangkahan (01 hours)Tours, transfer, entrance fee and tour guide.

We have a special full day bicycle trip at Bukittinggi, visiting villages, rice field, etc.  It can be as an option trip during stay at Bukittinggi, for those interested fullday bicycle trip will charge extra approx Rp.200.000 / person
