9D / 8N SUMBA ADVENTURE

 

Day 01. DENPASAR-WAINGAPU-CITY TOURS (D)
Upon your arival at Waingapu Airport pick up by your local guide transfer to  Elvin Hotel Or Similar for check in, afternoon take a city tour for visit: PRAI LIU/ KAMPUNG RAJA, TO SEE THE IKAT WEAVING PROCESS, Local market and old harbor. Afternoon return to Hotel for dinner and overnight at ELVIN HOTEL.

 

Day.02. WAINGAPU-MAU JAWA-PAU-MELOLO AND RENDE (BLD)
After breakfast at Hotel,   drive 62 km to MELOLO on the way stop will made at Mau JawaVilage to see the local people Making Palm Wine Sugar than continuous to see the traditional village of PAU and RENDE VILLAGE, the royal tomb are made from the megalithic stone and its houses where one of them the wall construction made from the Buffalo skin .picnic lunch will serve on the way, Afternoon drive back to Elvin HOTEL for overnight and dinner at local restaurant.

 

Day 03. WAINGAPU -WUNGA - PRAI LIANG TOURS. (BLD)
After breakfast at Hotel, visit to Prainatang and Wunga Village Village located up on a hill top where you can see the traditional houses of East Sumba, old traditional grave stones, and a stunning valley panorama. After walking 1km we arrive at a traditional village, proceeding to Purukambera Beach for relax and take a picnic lunch afternoon   and return to Hotel.

 

DAY.04. WAINGAPU-WAIKABUBAK-CITY TOUR (BLD)
After breakfast at Hotel, Your guide picks you up then escorted you then drives for overland  Waikabubak ( the west of Sumba ) with distance of approx. 137 km  and will be spent 4 hours. During the trip the stop will be made at KAMPUNG PASUNGA IN Anakalang Area/Waibakul to see the Greatest stone Grave and the traditional houses of west sumbanese .make the short walking ( 15 Minutes) to Lai Tarung to see the Secret houses of Marapu.  Proceed to Waikabubak city as the capital city of West Sumba Lunch at localrestaurant, after lunch continue the city tour by visiting to PraiIjing , WAITABAR  and Tarong  Village  which will see the traditional houses which are decorated by huge horn of Buffaloes in front and visit also the local market of Waikabubak City,  afternoon return to Monalisa  for dinner and overnight .

 

Day.05. Waikabubak-KodiFull Day Tours (BLD)
After breakfast at Hotel Drive to KodiArea for Visit: Tosi Village, ParonabaroroVillage, Rotenggaro Village and Ranggabaki Village, this place to see the entire houses are very high roof more than ten meters high. Lunch box will prepare on the beach, afternoon return to Hotel via Waitabula here along the way back to hotel we witness the Coffee plantation, dinner and over night at Hotel Monalisa

 

Day 06, WAIKABUBAK-LAMBOYA HIKING, 06 hours (BLD)
After breakfast at: 06.00 am , we go to  Lamboya area  For visit very traditional and authentic megalithic Marapu villages on hilltop From here start a very pleasant walk  crossing fields and coconut plantation  andclimb to enter  Montedao ( 45 minute walking ), Tokahale, Kahale and Malisu ( from one village to another village with 20 minute walking )  you are here out of the beaten paths and will experience Sumbanese hospitality as his best. Panorama from the top of hills is fantastic, you will watch their daily life, discover an anchor probably from Portuguese vessel, a holy house adorned with eight carved bird's heads, one of the two horses? Which haveto open PasolaLamboya and perhaps we will meet one of the rato who stay in Malisuvillage (mother village of an important clan). Return to MAROSI BEACH for relax, after that we will do another walk along the coast (01 hour walk),first to Wuntalaka stone-age village with beautiful panorama on delta of a large river,  Kerewe beach, place where start Pasola on February (sacred nyale rock). Then we continue along the coast discovering pristine seclude beaches, one of them is really amazing white sandy creek ended by a white cliff. Return to hotel.

 

Day 7:  WAIKABUBAK - ANAKALANG - MAMBORO COUNTRY SIDE TOURS (BLD)
After Breakfast, Your guide will pick you up then start the tour to Anakalang Areafor Visit: PASUNGA, ( Megalithic Tombs build on 1926 ) LAI TARUNG, To see the House of Marapu/ ancestor  , GALU BAKUL  Village to see The Royal tombs  King ofAnakalang ( UmbuSawola ) then drive to Mamboro Country side  and will stop at SomeVillage  for visit: Manuakalada, Wawarongu and Tambera Village, your picnic lunchwill provided on the way, during this trip you can enjoy  the fantastic view of therice field ,  green hill and savannah with the back groud of the Floresocean ,afternoon   return  to  SinarTambolaka  for accommodation(New City  Hotel Have Hot Shower and 05 Minute to the Airport  )

 

Day.08. Waitabula - HOTEL FREE PROGRAM (B)
After your breakfast at Hotel free of your own leisure. (Include Hotel only)
Dinner will be P A by the Clients

 

Day.09. Waitabula -TAMBOLAKA AIRPORT -DENPASAR (B)
After breakfast at Hotel, check out to the Airport to cutch your flight to nextdestination. TOUR END.
