Alor Divers offer you no guaranties, but Mola Mola (Sunfish), Thresher shark,

Hammerhead shark, whale and Marlin have been spotted many times.

 

THE RESORT
Our intimate resort is situated on a stretch of 400 m long sandy beach

on Pantar Island. To preserve the authentic atmosphere of the place,
we took special care while integrating the resort in its natural surrounding.

To enchance friendly ambiance and personalized service, the number of

guests are limited to 12. Locals from nearby village, few assistants from

the main town of the region, Kalabahi, and Western management make

up the hospitable working team, committed to present you with a memorable

stay in our islands retreat. The climate of Alor is particularly pleasant: the months

from early April to late October are fairly dry and nights are often surprisingly cold,

therefore acclimatization is less harsh than one might imagine.

Moreover, due to the lack of standing fresh water, mosquitoes are rare

to encounter for most of the year.

 

BUNGALOW
The thatched roof bungalows are built in the traditional Indonesian architectural style.

The wooden construction enables the see breeze to bring the natural aeration and freshness indoors

so there is no need for air-conditioning. Occasionally the nights can get even suprisingly cold...

All the bungalows are of the same size (36m2) and standard.

Interior equipment and décor are designed with simplicity to enchance the pristine spirit of the place.

All spacious private terraces grant you an impressive view on the sea and the spectacular Pantar strait.

The gentle breeze and the calming sound of the sea can easily make you dream

away so »be cautious not to miss your next dive«!

RESTAURANT & CUISINE
The restaurant is a relaxing area that provides facilities for different daily activities and »inactivity« if you just

want to relax and enjoy a drink or a book. It is a place that, apart from the dining area, also embraces a library

and a computer corner as well as a comfortable lounge. Three main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

are generally served buffet or family style. Complementary tea and coffee are available at all times and

in the afternoon we offer a selection of sweet or savoury snacks. We offer a variety of healthy meals

using fresh produce from the local market and fresh fish catch from local fishermen.

The meals are a carefully chosen combination of Asiatic and International dishes which will not

leave any of the guests dissatisfied. We are usually able to accommodate special diet needs

if given an adequate advance notice.

 

DIVE CENTER
It accommodates a place for equipment rinsing/storage and a spacious camera coulter that

comprises a 220V charging station. Your diving gear as well as your UW photography equipment

can be safely left in the dive center at all times.

 

Alor is a place of incredible surprises! We offer you no guaranties, but Mola Mola (Sunfish), Thresher shark,

Hammerhead shark, whale, Marlin have been spotted many times. Napoleons, giant Trevally, reef shark, turtles,

Barracudas, Eagle rays, giant Grouper, huge dogtooth Tuna and more are encountered on a regular basis.

And that's not alll... The preserved reefs have a lot more to offer – from unblemished coral slopes and

walls to scenic rock formation, Alor will enchant everyone. The growth is exuberant, with such an astonishing

variety of soft and hard coral that you will »almost forget to breathe«. Macro lovers will not be left out,

since critter diving is a highligh in Alor. The colorful slopes aroun Pura Island are the home of the

endearing mandarin fish, but they are also the home of frog fish, Blue Ribbon Eel, leaf fish, Harlequin

ghost pipe fish, pygmy sea horse, etc... In south Pantar the water is generally colder, the reef is mainly

covered with soft coral, fish life is amazing and an unbelivable variety of nudibranchs can be found.

Further north, the walls around Ternate offer beautiful underwater scenery, including caves and

multiple overhangs; divers are often gently drifting, surrounded by schools of fusilier, sergeant and tuna.

Our staff will welcome you upon arrival at Alor airport. 50 min car drive from the airport is followed

by 20 min boat ride across Pantar Strait to reach the resort.

Free of charge for scheduled transfer days (arrivals every Sunday and Thursday / departures every Wednesday and Saturday)
65 € surcharge per person one way for non scheduled transfers (any other day of the week).
